La linea Abissi nasce alla fine degli anni 90, L'ideatore Piero di Lugano fu infatti il primo a ideare l'affinamento subacqueo.
Tramite questo metodo le bottiglie si adagiano sul fondale marino a circa 60 metri sotto il livello del mare, dove vengono avvolte da una temperatura costante di 15 °C, in assenza di luce e con le correnti marine che cullano incessantemente le bottiglie rimescolando in continuazione i sedimenti e regalando allo spumante profumi unici e caratteristici.
